Position: Drupal Integrator

Job description

Exciting opportunity with a company developing a new innovative online collaboration tool. Reporting to the Director, Software Development, you will be responsible with integrating graphic design and the user interface of the site.

Technical specializations

Essential – CSS
Essential – JS (jQuery)
Essential – Drupal (PHPTemplate)
Asset – Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Asset - PHP
Asset – Knowledge of Agile Methodology

General Criteria

Essential – Bachelor Degree in IT or related
Essential – Three years experience
Asset – Experience in graphics integration
Asset – Bilingual English/French

Responsibilities:

  • Integration of graphic and dynamic elements with respect to the design and user experience of an existing site.
  • Development of various web scripts necessary to integration.
  • Unit testing to verify your development.
  • Produce documentation tied to your development.

Profile:

  • Excellent knowledge of CSS and JS, object oriented development with jQuery library. Experience with other Javascript libraries, as jExtJs or Prototype is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of the template engine PHPTemplate. Experience with other templating engines is an asset.
  • Proven experience of the Drupal content management platform Drupal development experience is an asset.
  • Experience with WEB standards like XHTML,CSS, WCAG etc.
  • Proven experience with web integration and WEB 2.0 development.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies as XP, SCRUM, etc.
