Koumbit's fifth anniversary party, Bar Populaire, Saturday June 12th

As our longtime clients and workers know, it's been six years since Koumbit was founded in March 2004. But being geeks who start counting at zero, we've decided to celebrate Koumbit's fifth anniversary this year, even though conventional arithmetic would describe it otherwise.

Mathematical pleasantries aside, Koumbit has many reasons to to celebrate. Koumbit has never been so recognized in the free software movement, amongst local non-profit organizations, or indeed the broader community. Over the past year, we've doubled our work force, and now have twelve employees, plus a dozen freelancers working regularly in our office. We've received a major grant from the Ministère des Services Gouvernementaux which will allow us to launch a shared Drupal hosting service, to expand our community outreach efforts, and improve our internal project management system. Koumbit's clearly going places!

We've had our nose to the grindstone for six (sorry, five) years now, and it's time for us to celebrate with you, our former, current, new, or future friends, members, workers, volunteers, partners, and clients.

Come join us at Bar Populaire on June 12th, starting at 7 PM. A round of drinks and a light buffet for the first to arrive are on us.

This is a perfect occasion to meet Koumbit's workers, other members, clients, and partners in an informal setting. Come celebrate our history with us, and bring us your ideas for the future!
