Depuis une douzaine d'années, j'ai utilisé quelques environnement de bureau comme KDE, Gnome 2.x, XFCE.

J'ai choisi Ubuntu il y a quelques années déjà comme système d'exploitation sur mes postes de travail. Pourquoi Ubuntu? Pour sa simplicité d'installation, sa stabilité et sa documentation très complète.

At the last UDS, we once again discussed the state of IPv6 support in Ubuntu. We're in the process of making Ubuntu really rock with IPv6, and this comes with decisions and hard work.br /br /One of these decisions was to enable IPv6 Privacy Extensions by default. In other words, rather than having an IPv6 address that is derived directly from your network device's MAC address, you'll now have that, but supplemented with time-based temporary addresses, randomly created, used to establish outgoing connections to systems.

Normalement, la version d’octobre sort toujours le plus possible vers la fin du mois, mais cette semaine, nous avons eu droit à une belle sortie d’avance. Pour ceux qui ont besoin d’une présentation, Ubuntu est une des distributions Linux les plus populaires auprès du public en général dû à sa simplicité d’utilisation.
