FOXHACK — Hackathon Firefox OS à Montréal

Montréal, QC – 6 septembre 2013 — Un hackathon visant Firefox OS sera tenu à Montréal le weekend du 28 septembre. L’évènement est présenté par La Commune en association avec Mozilla, Mozilla Québec, Startup Weekend et FACIL. L’invitation est envoyé aux mordus de JavaScript, HTML5 et du mobile pour deux jours de développement intensif. La participation est gratuite et les repas seront offerts par des bénévoles.

One of the great ways to reduce the perceived load time of pages on your site is to prefetch resources that will be needed while users are busy reading or interacting with the current page.

There are a few ways to ensure that the browser will already have a page in its cache when users visit them. In this particular case, I wanted improve the load time of the Persona dialog while users are busy looking at the third-party site they want to login into.

Sometimes you hear about a cool new HTML5 feature and you want to explore it, but you don’t want to go through the hassle of building and deploying a web page to do it. This is when I love JSFiddle. It’s a sandbox for web development!

Let’s start with something really simple.
