There’s a new generation of devices really changing how we look at the web, Apple calls it Retina, others call it HiDPI (high dots per inch), but it’s been trickling its way up mostly through mobile phones and then in tablets with the iPad 3.

I love the short and sweet tutorials. This week I found two of them, both Mac related and both on Youtube. The similarities end there.

Apple announced on Monday iCloud, Lion, and iOS5.  Oh , and one more thing: iTunes Match.  A 24.99$ a year service that lets you take your existing pira…. er, ripped music and get Apple to legitimize it.  The revolutionary part of this announcement has to do with the labels.  It’s clear the music labels were involved in approving this plan, and it’s also clear that a part of that yearly fee is going to the labels.  It’s low enough people will pay it.  A lot of people.

Today, being Day Against DRM, I thought I would write a little bit about it, and the reasons why I think it is severely flawed, both in reasoning and implementation.

Deux (bon trois!) petites nouvelles qui ont attiré mon attention entre deux travaux!

D'abord, on constate qu'Apple continue son discours hypocrite, prétendant s'opposer à Flash en faisant la promotion de l'ouverture du web par leur support de HTML5 (on ne mentionnera pas leur choix de format vidéo...h264?!).
